In 2023 we started our relationship in  Oko Farms based in  Brooklyn New York.

They work to promote aquaponics as an ecological farming method that mitigates the impact of climate change and increases food security for urban residents while demystifying aquaponics through awareness and education.

Our collaboration comes through both sourcing Oko produce for upcoming events , cooking events at the farm, and using vegetables to help feed local communities.

The reason for this visit is for Chef Russell and Yemi [founder of Oko Farms] togo through avaiable produce for an upcoming event.

The highlight of the early harvest were the hakurei turnips. They were the size of baseballs and we best eaten like an apple.
